Names Released of Driver, Motorcyclist Killed in Crash
A Gaithersburg motorcyclist died from injuries suffered in a collision Saturday with a car driven by a Vienna, VA, woman.

Authorities on Monday released the names of a man killed when his motorcycle collided with a car making a U-turn Saturday night in Gaithersburg, and disclosed the identity of the car’s driver.
The crash was reported just before 8 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Frederick Road (Route 355) and Christopher Avenue in Gaithersburg.
Investigators believe a motorcycle was southbound on Frederick Road when it struck a black Acura MDX making a U-turn from northbound Frederick Road to southbound Frederick Road.

The 35-year-old motorcycle driver was taken to Suburban Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Authorities on Monday said the victim was Stanislas Alexandre N. Nignan, 35, of the 19200 block of Seneca Ridge Court in Gaithersburg
The 48-year-old female driver of the Acura, and two female occupants, ages 82 and 52, were not injured. The driver of the Acura is Amelia Siu-An Hay, 48, of the 8100 block of Madrillon Court in Vienna, VA.
