Olney Crash Kills One; Driver Not Identified
A man whose car crashed into a traffic signal box in Olney died from his injuries; Montgomery Police has not released his name.

OLNEY, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward who saw a single-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Olney. The driver, who was alone in his car, was taken to a local hospital and died from his injuries.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. at eastbound Olney Laytonsville Road (Route 108) and Olney Mill Road. Investigators say a white 2007 Honda Accord was traveling east on Route 108 when the car left the roadway near Olney Mill Road and slammed into a traffic signal control box. Police are working to determine why the driver lost control.
The driver’s name will be released once his family is notified police say.
