Olney M&T Bank Robbery Suspect Photos Released

Montgomery County Police have released surveillance images of a man they believe robbed the M&T Bank in Olney.

OLNEY, MD — Montgomery County Police have released surveillance images of a man suspected of robbing the M&T Bank, 3221 Spartan Road in Olney, on Feb. 2 in hopes that tips from the public can help identify him.

Investigators say a man approached a teller, implied that he had a weapon, threatened the teller, and demanded money. Once the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled from the bank. The robber was last seen on foot in the area of Spartan Road and Buehler Road.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the bank robbery is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. To be eligible for a reward, tipsters may call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
