ROCKVILLE, MD — Strap on those skates, because the outdoor ice skating rink at Rockville Town Square is now open for the 2019-2020 winter season.

The 7,200-square-foot rink — billed as the largest in the Washington-Baltimore region — is open Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 10 p.m., Fridays from noon to 11 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The price to skate is $9 for adults, $8 for children, and $8 for seniors. Skate rentals are $5. You can get a 10-skate admissions pack for $70. Group rate discounts, family season passes, and individual season passes are available upon request.

Beginners can sign up for group lessons for $100. That includes five weeks of classes and skate rentals. Adults can also take classes for $110.
