Montgomery County Police say a Rockville pedestrian died Friday, nearly two weeks after he was hit by a car.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A pedestrian hit by a car on a Rockville street last month died Friday, nearly two weeks after he was injured, according to Montgomery County Police. Pedro Mendoza, 54, of Gilbert Road in Rockville died at a local hospital from injuries he suffered in the accident that happened shortly before 9 p.m. Oct. 16 at Norbeck Road (Route 28) and Baltimore Road in Rockville.
