Photos: 3 Suspects Sought In Robbery Of Packages From UPS Truck

Montgomery County Police released surveillance photos of three suspects and two vehicles involved in the Jan. 10 robbery of a UPS truck.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police detectives released photos Thursday of three suspects and two vehicles captured by a surveillance camera in connection with the Jan. 10 theft of packages from a UPS delivery truck in Rockville, according to a release.

Police are asking the public's help in identifying the suspects and vehicles in this case.

Through their investigation, detectives determined that around 10:50 a.m., two suspects entered a UPS truck while the driver was making deliveries inside a building in the 5700 block of Bou Avenue.

The two men forced their way into the back of the truck and took multiple packages, while a third suspect wearing a security uniform waited outside, acting as a lookout, according to police. The three suspects then fled the area in two separate but similarly looking vehicles.

Anyone who provides information leading to the arrest of the suspects in this case may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000. Callers may remain anonymous.

While two other suspects broke into a UPS truck and stole packages from inside, a third suspect, who was wearing a security uniform, waited nearby and acted as a lookout, according to police. (MCDP)
