Police Seek Person of Interest in Rockville Stabbings

Three men argued, then fought at the Rockville Metrorail Station Monday morning.

Metro Transit Police need the public’s help to identify a man who may have had a role in the stabbing of two men outside the Rockville Metrorail Station Monday morning.

The investigation has revealed that the incident began as an argument between three men off Metro property about 6 a.m. The men walked toward Rockville Metro, where the disagreement escalated to a fight at the Ride ON bus stop. During the fight, two of the men were stabbed by the third man, police say.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities say.

Anyone who is able to identify man is asked to call Metro Transit Police Detectives at (202) 962-2121 and reference case #2014-62731. Tips also can be sent via text message to “MyMTPD” (696873).

There are no current warrants for the man sought in this case.
