(Update) Child Found Who Went Missing from Gaithersburg Costco
BREAKING: Montgomery County authorities say a 2-year-old girl was found after she was reported missing from the Gaithersburg Costco.
(Updated at 5:30 p.m.) ROCKVILLE, MD ā Police say a 2-year-old girl reported missing from the Costco store in Gaithersburg was found just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to an alert sent out by the city of Rockville.
Destiny Mwega was last seen at the Gaithersburg Costco, and later located unharmed. Police initially said the toddler may have been abducted, but she is also able to walk and could have disappeared on her own. After she was found unharmed, police said they will continue to look into what happened.
She was last seen wearing a green top, blue jeans, pink hooded jacket, glasses.
