Pregnant Woman Kept Out of Metro Bathroom
A pregnant woman was told she couldn't use the employee restroom at the Shady Grove Metro station; the public restroom was closed.

Derwood, MD — Metro employees have backtracked on a decision to keep a pregnant woman from using the Shady Grove station’s bathroom after she soiled herself and became ill from the humiliation.
Rachel Eisinger-Baskin is five months pregnant, so bathroom breaks are a must before she boards her commuter train. Since the station’s public restroom is closed at the moment, she asked a station manager to open the employee restroom for her, which workers had done a few times in the past.
The answer was a no, with the staffer telling Eisinger-Baskin that she had abused the restroom privilege.

"Unfortunately, I ended up having an accident, and then I got so upset, and I was embarrassed that I got sick on myself, and I had to go home," Eisinger-Baskin told NBC Washington.
A Metro spokesman told the TV station that employees are supposed to let passengers into station restrooms when possible.
