Rockville 7-Eleven Armed Robbers Shown in Video: Police
Montgomery County Police have released security video of two men wanted for robbing a Rockville 7-Eleven store.
ROCKVILLE, MD — Authorities on Friday released surveillance video of two men suspected of robbing a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint last month, and asked the public to help identify the culprits. Montgomery County Police continue to investigate the Dec. 10 armed robbery of the convenience store at 5402 Randolph Road.
Detectives say a man working at the store's cash register and a second employee working in an aisle encountered the two suspects, both armed with handguns, as they robbers entered the store. The first suspect went behind the counter, pointed a handgun at the cashier, then took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
While the first suspect was behind the counter, the second suspect confronted the other employee, pointed a handgun at him, and told him not to move, police say. Both suspects fled from the 7-Eleven.
