Rockville Area Mall Hours for Christmas Eve 2016

ROCKVILLE, MD — If you have one last gift to buy, or maybe you prefer to push your luck and start your Christmas shopping just hours before the big day, area malls are open for business through Christmas Eve.

Many malls and national retailers are extending their hours as the clock ticks away to Christmas. Most Kohl's stores are even open overnight Friday into Saturday to help last-minute shoppers. All Rockville area malls will be closed on Christmas Day, with many stores opening early on Monday, Dec. 26, to serve shoppers who need to exchange gifts or spend gift cards.

Hours at some Montgomery County malls Dec. 23-26 are:

• Clarksburg Premium Outlets: Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23; 9am - 6pm on Saturday, Dec. 24; closed on Christmas Day; and open 8am - 9pm on Monday, Dec. 26.
• Lakeforest Mall - Gaithersburg: Mall hours are 9am-11pm on Friday, Dec. 23; 8am-6pm on Saturday, Dec. 24; closed on Christmas Day; and open early, 8am-9pm on Monday, Dec. 26.
• Westfield Montgomery – Bethesda: Mall hours are 8am - 11pm on Friday, Dec. 23; 7am - 6pm on Saturday, Dec. 24; closed on Christmas Day; open 8am - 10pm on Monday, Dec. 26. Hours vary by store.
• Westfield Wheaton: Mall hours are 8am - 11pm on Friday, Dec. 23; 8am - 7 pm on Saturday, Dec. 24; closed on Christmas Day; open 8am - 10pm on Monday, Dec. 26. Hours vary by store.
• Ellsworth Place - Silver Spring: The shopping center is open Friday, Dec. 23, but hours are not posted; check with individual stores.

Some store hours vary. For example, many Macy's locations will be open until midnight on Friday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Saturday. Nordstrom will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Sears will be open 9 a.m. to midnight Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday.
