Rockville College Students Honored For Academic Achievements

ROCKVILLE, MD — To shine a light on the academic achievements of college students from the Rockville area, Patch shares information provided by the students' families and Merit News.

The following students participated in commencement ceremonies on May 22, at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania:

• Alexa Singman of Rockville graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree degree in Psychology and a minor in Studio Art.
• Michaela Hoenig graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree degree in Political Science and Public Health.

Emma Burns of Rockville was among the more than 700 students named to the dean's honors list at Moravian University for spring 2022. To be named to the dean's list, undergraduate students must carry three or more completed/graded courses and maintain a 3.50 grade point average.

Samantha Koitz of Rockville was named to Susquehanna University's dean's list for the spring 2022 semester. Koitz is a class of 2022 student majoring in communication studies and international studies with a focus in diplomacy. To qualify for the dean's list, students must complete 12 or more semester hours and earn a 3.4 or higher grade point average.

The following students were among the 520 students to participate in commencement exercises at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

• Bryce Smithwick of Rockville graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in political science.
• Zion Raeburn of Rockville graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in communications with a focus in broadcasting.

The following students were among the 4,500 undergraduate and graduate students to receive degrees during commencement exercises on May 6-7 at the Georgia Institute of Technology at Bobby Dodd Stadium:
