Rockville High School Senior Named Bank of America Student Leader

ROCKVILLE, MD — Paris Ye, a rising senior at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, was named a Bank of America Student Leader for 2022 in July.

The Bank of America Student Leaders program has helped students since 2004 prepare to enter the workforce through skills-building and leadership development. Students receive an eight-week, paid internship with the local YMCA.

Ye is one of five student leaders selected in the DMV area and the only student from Rockville. She was chosen to be one of the 300 student leaders from across the country based on her advocacy work with the Montgomery County Special Elections Committee and Youth Activism Project.

In addition, Ye helped lead the Asian American Progressive Student Union and is a member of MoCo EmpowHER, a county-affiliated organization dedicated to female student empowerment.
