Rockville House Fire Causes $100K Damage; Arson Possible
The blaze on North Stonestreet Avenue led to the partial collapse of the house, authorities say.
Montgomery County fire officials are investigating whether a fire in a Rockville house was arson.
Firefighters were called to the blaze in the 900 block of North Stonestreet Avenue about midnight Saturday. The house was vacant at the time of the fire; damage was estimated at $100,000.
The fire led to the partial collapse of the front of the house, says Montgomery County Fire and Rescue via Twitter.

Neighbors told authorities they heard a loud boom at the house before firefighters arrived on scene.
