Rockville Man with Dementia Missing from Shelter: Police

Montgomery County Police are asking for the public's help as they search for a man with dementia who is reported missing from a shelter.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help as officers try to locate a missing Rockville man with dementia.

Michael Eugene Tolbert, who lives at the Montgomery County Men’s Emergency Shelter at 600 E. Gude Drive, has been reported missing by shelter staff, police said Tuesday.

Tolbert is described as a white man, 5’10” tall, and weighs about 170 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a green jumpsuit. Tolbert is familiar with public transportation.

Police say Tolbert suffers from dementia and does not have his medication with him. Police and family are concerned for his welfare.
