Rockville Man Indicted In 2022 Crash That Killed A Germantown Man
A Montgomery County grand jury indicted a Rockville man in connection with the August 2022 crash that killed a 62-year-old Germantown man.
ROCKVILLE, MD — A Montgomery County grand jury indicted 21-year-old Kevin Saul Orihuela of Rockville on multiple charges last Thursday in connection with the Aug. 14, 2022 fatal collision on Josiah Henson Parkway, according to a police release.
A Montgomery County Police investigation determined that Orihuela was driving a white Audi A4 at a high rate of speed eastbound on Josiah Henson Parkway, before it struck a 2014 Ford Fusion driven by 62-year-old Noel Henry Powell of Germantown, according to police.
Powell was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, but he later died. Orihuela was also taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Police arrested Orihuela on Friday, charging him with grossly negligent manslaughter by vehicle, homicide under the influence of alcohol, homicide under the influence of alcohol per se, and homicide while impaired by alcohol, according to police.
