Rockville Metro Station Assault, Robbery Suspect Arrested
Rockville Police have arrested a Bethesda man for an assault and attempted robbery near the Rockville Metro Station.

ROCKVILLE, MD — A Bethesda man has been charged with assault and attempted robbery for a Dec. 7 incident near the Rockville Metro station. Officers from the Rockville City Police Department on Tuesday located and arrested Henry Grenfell Stevenson, 23, of the 8300 block of Thoreau Drive in Bethesda.
Police say a 53-year-old man was walking in the 600 block of North Stonestreet Avenue when Stevenson allegedly knocked him to the ground, assaulted the man and attempted to remove his wallet. The victim fought back and the attacker fled on foot.
The scuffle left the victim with a concussion, as well as multiple cuts and bruises, authorities say.

Investigators say Stevenson followed the man from the Metro station before assaulting him. Stevenson was charged with attempted robbery and second-degree assault and was released on bail.
