Rockville Pedestrian Dies from Injuries in Silver Spring Collision
Montgomery County Police say the 18-year-old was hit by a car on Columbia Pike Thursday.

A Rockville woman died Thursday morning when she was hit by a car while crossing the street in Silver Spring, officials say.
Montgomery County Police say Michelle Sena Hoyah, 18, of the 300 block of Rutgers Street in Rockville, was killed on southbound Columbia Pike (US 29) at New Hampshire Avenue (MD 650).
The accident happened about 6 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Route 29, just south of New Hampshire Avenue. Police say Hoyah was crossing Route 29 between New Hampshire Avenue and Oak Leaf Drive. A 2011 Toyota Camry was southbound on Route 29 and struck Hoyah in the traffic lanes.

The driver of the Toyota is Maxwell Larbi, 35, of the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive in White Oak.
Hoyah was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where she died from her injuries.

All lanes of US 29 at New Hampshire Avenue are now open, police say.
No charges have been filed.
