Rockville Police Non-Emergency Number May Be Inaccessible Tuesday night; Call MCDP Instead

ROCKVILLE, MD — Rockville residents may not be able to reach the Rockville Police Department's non-emergency number for a period of time Tuesday night and into Wednesday due to upgrades in the city's phone system.

The upgrades, which may affect calls to RCPD's non-emergency number, will begin at 5:30 p.m., on Tuesday and continue into Wednesday.

Callers who can't reach RCPD via the non-emergency number (240-314-8900) should call the Montgomery County Department of Police's non-emergency number (301-279-8000) instead.
