Rockville Restaurant Among Best In U.S. For Groups: OpenTable

ROCKVILLE, MD — For Maryland diners planning group outings this holiday season, there is good news. One of the best restaurants for groups is right here in Rockville, according to OpenTable.

Tower Oaks Lodge was among five restaurants that made the list in Maryland. The eatery on Preserve Parkway was lauded for its service to large parties.

"...when it comes to welcoming diners at these restaurants, it's absolutely a case of the more the merrier," said OpenTable Chief Dining Officer Caroline Potter. "These honorees each have a festive, energetic ambiance, warm hospitality, and crowd-pleasing menus that make them perfect for groups."

The dining review website compiled more than 10 million verified reviews from 2016 to 2017 to come up with the 100 Best Restaurants for Groups in America.

All restaurants with a minimum "overall" score and qualifying number of reviews were included for consideration. Qualifying restaurants were then scored and sorted according to the percentage of reviews for which "great for groups" was selected as a special feature, OpenTable explained.

Tower Oaks Lodge describes itself as "the look and feel of one of the 'Great Camps' of the Adirondacks, Tower Oaks Lodge serves an American-style saloon menu. Adjacent to a 21-acre nature preserve, Tower Oaks Lodge is located just off I-270. The raw bar features oysters from both coasts."
