Rockville's Collingswood Named One Of Best Nursing Homes 2023

ROCKVILLE, MD — Collingswood Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Rockville has been named among the nation’s top skilled nursing facilities in Newsweek’s “America's Best Nursing Homes 2023.” The 160-bed center, located at 299 Hurley Avenue, provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care, according to a news release.

Collingswood is a previous winner of Newsweek’s America’s Best Nursing Homes honor.

Newsweek, in partnership with global data research firm Statista Inc., announced its America’s Best Nursing Homes 2023 earlier this month, identifying the nation’s top 475 facilities across 25 states. This year’s criteria include a performance data score, reputation score and a COVID-19 score, in relation to in-state competition.

The recognition comes on the heels of Collingswood completing a $7 million, top-to-bottom modernization featuring updates throughout the facility, including the expansion of its rehab therapy gym and the incorporation of an activities of daily living suite. The facility also has enhanced its specialty care programming over the past year.
