Rockville's First Responders To Be Honored At Ceremony

At a ceremony in June, first responders will receive public service awards for their dedication and commitment to the Rockville community.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Between saving family members from a house fire, arresting law-breakers on the street, delivering babies in an ambulance, and housing convicted felons in jail, first responders and correctional officers have seen it all.

As a way to say thank you, the City of Rockville and the Rockville Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an awards ceremony for these local service members.

Members of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, and Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation will be honored at the annual event, which will take place at Lakewood Country Club in Rockville on June 12.
