School Bus Crash Sends 5 to Hospital: Reports
The vehicle collided with an SUV Tuesday afternoon on Aspen Hill Road, says MoCo fire department.

ROCKVILLE, MD ā Five children were taken to a local hospital as a precaution Tuesday afternoon after the school bus in which they were passengers collided with an SUV, according to a spokesman with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service. There were no serious injuries reported, but the five elementary school students were to receive medical checkups, said Pete Piringer, the fire service spokesman
The collision occurred Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Aspen Hill Road and Arctic Avenue, off Veirs Mill Road in the Rockville area, according to Piringer.

The fire department did not identify the make or model of the SUV or its driver. Information about the possible cause of the crash has not been released.

Fox45, a Baltimore TV station, reported that several students suffered minor injuries. The school bus was transporting six students from Veirs Mill Elementary School.
