Sexual Solicitation Of A Minor Charge Levied Against VA Man: MD Police
Montgomery County police arrested a McLean man for attempting to meet a detective posing as a 15-year-old girl for a sexual encounter.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police arrested 34-year-old Jose M. Jimenez of McLean, Virginia for sexual solicitation of a minor, according to a police release.
On Aug. 11, Jimenez initiated a conversation on a social media site with a Montgomery County detective posing as 15-year-old girl, according to police. The next day, Jimenez and the detective agreed to meet after they had exchanged messages and phone numbers. Even though Jimenez asked the "girl" her age, he continued sending sexually explicit text messages to her.
On Wednesday Jimenez rented a motel room prior to the meeting the girl at a pre-arranged location in Rockville, according to police. Once Jimenez arrived at the location, detectives arrested him.

After taking Jimenez to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, police charged him with sexual solicitation of a minor, according to the release. Jimenez was later released on an unsecured bond.
Detectives believe that Jimenez may have made contact with additional victims.
