Students at Chesterbrook Academy Donate to Help End Child Hunger

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney recently raised more than $850, the equivalent of 8,530 meals, to benefit No Kid Hungry. Over the past few weeks, students and their families donated online to the organization and were entered into a raffle to win a family movie basket. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of spreading kindness and helping community members in need.

No Kid Hungry is a nonprofit organization that works to ensure that every child in the United States has access to healthy food. For every $10 donation, No Kid Hungry can provide up to 100 meals for a child.
