Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney Raise More than $180 for Pennies for Patients

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Olney recently raised more than $180 in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Pennies for Patients program. Throughout the summer, students hosted a bake sale to raise funds for the initiative, which is a school-based fundraising program to help to fund research for therapies that save the lives of blood cancer patients. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others in need.
