Suspect Wanted For Taking Items From Parked Cars In Rockville Caught On Surveillance Video

Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in identifying a man they say took items from cars parked in a Rockville parking lot.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Police released surveillance photos on Friday of a man and his vehicle as part of an investigation into several thefts from vehicles that occurred Tuesday in Rockville. Police are asking the public's help in identifying the man and car shown in the photos.

Investigators determined that on Tuesday, the suspect forced his way into several vehicles that were parked in a parking lot in the 1400 block of Research Road in Rockville. The suspect then took items from the vehicles and left the scene in a dark colored, four-door Chevrolet, according to police.

Police described the suspect as a Black man in his 40s or 50s. He had a large build and stood approximately 5-foot-10. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, white socks and white and red shoes, according to police.
