All my students have come to Maryland from other countries, many are here illegally through no fault of their own; they came as children to reunite with their mother/ father/ grandmother, etc. They overcome incredible obstacles to achieve their American Dream: a high school diploma. I'm so proud of these students for what they have accomplished.
