The HearArts literary and music series on the first Thursday of every month.
The monthly HearArts series at at Rockville Town Square features artists reading original poetry or other written compositions, musical performances and an open mic.
Thursday's showcase included poetry by Michael Salcman and a performance by Thomas Hawk, the yodeling cowboy.
HearArts is held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month.
