On The Road
As of 7:22 a.m., delays remain after a crash was cleared on northbound I-395 on the 14th Street Bridge, according to WTOP traffic. All lanes are open.
As of 7:18 a.m., northbound-left traffic lane and left shoulder of I-95 North past the exit for MD-24/Vietnam Veterans Memorial Parkway are closed, according to MDOT. [Abington, MD]
As of 7:17 a.m., be on the lookout for police activity involving one vehicle on I-95 North before the Tydings Bridge, according to MDOT. All traffic lanes are open. [Tydings Bridge, MD]
As of 7:12 a.m., a disabled vehicle was reported in the roadway on I-495/Outer Loop of the Capital Beltway at the exit for MD-193/University Boulevard, according to MDOT. All lanes are open. [Silver Spring, MD]
As of 7:09 a.m., morthbound-right shoulder of I-95 North past the exit for MD-543/Creswell Road due to a disabled vehicle in the roadway, according to MDOT. [Belcamp, MD]
As of 6:58 a.m., northbound right shoulder of MD-187 North at Woodmont Avenue is closed, according to MDOT. [Bethesda, MD]
As of 6:58 a.m., southbound both shoulders of I-395 from Conway Street to Fort McHenry Tunnel are closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]
As of 6:58 a.m., northbound left shoulder of I-95 North from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road is closed, according to MDOT. [Cherry Hill Park, MD]
As of 6:58 a.m., the northbound-left turn lane and shoulder are closed on MD-190 North at Ridgefield Road, according to MDOT. [Somerset, MD]
As of 6:49 a.m., proceed with caution due to a truck fire that was reported blocking both lanes of traffic on Dorsey Run Road south of Junction Drive, according to WTOP Traffic. [Annapolis Junction, MD]
As of 5:42 a.m., dark traffic lights were reported on North Capitol Street in both directions at E St. Proceed with caution, according to WTOP Traffic. [Washington, DC]
On Metro
As of 7:18 a.m., MARC Camden Line Trains 840 and 847 are currently experiencing a 15-25 minute delay this morning due to CSX freight train interference, according to MDOT. [Washington, DC]
Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]
DC Weather
Scattered showers and thunderstorms after expected after 2 p.m., on Wednesday in the Baltimore-Washington metro area, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Wednesday will be partly sunny, with a high near 82 and a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
As o 7:43 a.m., the temperature in Rockville, Maryland was 60 degrees under partly sunny skies, according to AccuWeather. Expect to see intermittent clouds Wednesday with a thunder storm in the afternoon. The high temperature will be 80 degrees and the low 62.
