Veterans Day 2018: Events To Check Out In Montgomery County

ROCKVILLE, MD — This year's Veterans Day is on Nov. 11, and marks 100 years since the unofficial end of World War I. To celebrate our veterans past and present, you can take part in a number of events and activities across Montgomery County.

Sunday, Nov. 11

• Veterans Day Ceremony — Rockville
• Veterans Day Tour at the Medical Museum — Silver Spring
• Gaithersburg Veterans Day Observance — Gaithersburg
• Veterans Day Edition of Pop-Up Sundays — Silver Spring
• Fall Scavenger Hunt — Colesville
• A Veterans Day Tradition in Jesup Blair Local Park — Silver Spring
