Victim Stabbed 47 Times in Rockville Double Homicide: Report
Scott Tomaszewski has confessed to killing his neighbors last month at their home, according to police.

The suspect in the double homicide of a Rockville couple was denied bond during his first court appearance in Maryland on Monday.
Investigators tracked down Scott Tomaszewski on an Alaska cruise last month and finally transported him back to Montgomery County over the weekend.
He is charged with 1st degree murder and burglary in the deaths of Richard and Julianne Vilardo.

New details in the deaths were also revealed during the court proceedings Monday, according to WUSA9.
Prosecutors noted that Richard Vilardo had been stabbed 47 times. His body was found near the home on Sunday morning, May 10.

Investigators say the Vilardoes were in the Charles Town, W.VA, area on May 9, where they had dinner with friends. The couple came home that evening, which is the last time they were known to be alive.
Julianne Vilardo was found dead inside the home. Prosecutors said Monday that she had been stabbed eight times.
Tomaszewski reportedly confessed to the killings when he was apprehended in Alaska during a retirement cruise with his parents.
