VIDEO: A Sneak Peek Into Cirque Mechanics 'Boom Town'
Clowns, dancers, gymnasts and aerialists highlight the show at the Music Center at Strathmore.
Cirque Mechanics "Boom Town" brings the story of Rosebud, an 1865 mining town populated by adventurers and prospectors to the stage at the Music Center at Strathmore for one night only on Tuesday.
The cast of aerialists, gymnasts, clowns and dancers includes Bethesda-based clown and international touring artist Elena Day.
Chris Lashua, Cirque Mechanics's creative director and producer, says that what sets this performance apart is the seamless interaction between the mechanical props and the acrobats.
