VIDEO: Like Father, Like Son at Glenview Mansion
Artist Levon Jamgochian and son Arec put their talents on display on Sunday
An exhibition of more than 100 pieces from Levon Jamgochian, an internationally renowned painter, printmaker and sculpture went on display on Sunday at Glenview Mansion at Rockville Civic Center Park.
The display opened with a reception and the opportunity to meet the artist.
The exhibit includes a series of works from Jamgochian's series "Eternity Suite," which comprises about 200 works based on classical patterns found in nature and features mediums ranging from lithographs to real tree roots.

The reception also included the first featured performance on violin by Levon's 15-year-old son, Arec Jamgochian, who was accompanied by Irina Kats on piano. The duo performed classical compositions from different eras.
Levon Jamgochian has exhibited his work through more than 50 one-man shows in museums and art galleries around the world. His works are housed in numerous private collections and noted museums worldwide.
