VIDEO: Nancy Wilson Performs Her Greatest Hits
The Grammy winner returned to Strathmore on Friday for another sold-out show.
Three-time Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Nancy Wilson graced the stage at the Music Center at Strathmore on Friday, accompanied by a trio of musicians. The sold-out concert hall welcomed Wilson with a standing ovation, a testament to her 60-year career.
Before her performance, two of Wilson's gowns were on display, one of which she wore while accepting the Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal Album for "Turned to Blue" in February 2007. Wilson is donating the gowns to the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of American History.
Wilson last appeared at Strathmore in May for another sold-out performance.
