Virtual Coronavirus Briefing With County Officials: How To Watch

Montgomery County leaders are hosting a virtual COVID-19 briefing on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Here's how to watch.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich will be hosting a virtual community COVID-19 briefing on Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Democrat will be joined by Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jack Smith, County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles, and Director of Emergency Management Dr. Earl Stoddard.

They will share the latest on the new coronavirus, update the county's ongoing public health efforts, and answer questions from residents.

The virtual community briefing will be live-streamed on the county's website and Facebook page. Residents can also watch the event on the MCPS website, County Cable Montgomery (CCM) — Channel 6 on Comcast and RCN (HD on 996 and 1056), and Channel 30 on Verizon.
