Waste Paper Fire At Rockville Business Extinguished Tuesday Night
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel extinguished a large, burning pile of waste paper at Rockville business Tuesday night.

ROCKVILLE, MD — Montgomery County Fire and Rescue extinguished a fire involving a large pile of bailed waste paper Tuesday night in Rockville. No injuries were reported.
Fire and rescue units responded around 8 p.m., to the report of a fire at Georgetown Paper Stock of Rockville at 14820 Southlawn Lane.
Arriving on the scene, MCFRS located the fire in a large mound of paper stock and recyclables in a lot on property. A front loader was used to expose the burning paper, which was then doused with water from two aerial towers.

In all, 35 firefighters responded to the scene with four engines, two aerial towers, a brush truck and one rescue squad.
