Westwood has fun with fall in Bethesda

Celebrate the most colorful time of the year at the Westwood Fall Festival.

It’s time to celebrate this fall’s perfect, crisp weather at the Westwood Fall Festival on Oct. 29, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m

The Fall Festival will feature plenty of activities for children and adults of all ages with face and pumpkin painting, live music and great food. Little ones - and their four-legged friends - are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes for trick-or-treating fun.

The Joe Bernui Duo will provide classic rock and pop tunes throughout the afternoon while attendees nosh on food from Geppetto BBQ, Chix N Stix and grab that last taste of summer from Kona Ice.

The Squeals on Wheels Petting Zoo will bring smiles with their furry, friendly group of bunnies, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks and a teacup pig. After enjoying the company of the large English lop bunny, animal lovers can give back to Montgomery County Partners for Animal Well-Being (MCPAW) through donation boxes and raffle tickets at the event.

Everyone can stay moving and run off that Halloween sugar-rush with demonstrations from Sweetbay Yoga and friendly soccer games lead by Brit-Am Soccer Academy.
