Whole Foods, Safeway, Food Lion: Christmas Hours In Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD — Remembering to stock every ingredient for your Christmas dinner isn't easy. Whether it's brown sugar to glaze the ham, or wine to toast the holiday, there's always something that doesn't make it into the shopping cart. Hey, it happens to the best of us.

Should you need to make a last-minute grocery run, don't panic. Several grocery stores in Rockville be open — at least for a little while — on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Operating hours may vary by location, so it's best to double check with your local grocery store. Here's a list of stores that will be open and closed on Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25.

What's Open On Dec. 24 and/or 25

• Whole Foods:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
• Giant Food:
  • The location at 625 Hungerford Dr will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
  • The location at 12051 Rockville Pike will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • The location at 9719 Traville Gateway Dr will open at 6 a.m. and close at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Target:
  • The store will open at 7 a.m. and closed at 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve
• Safeway:
  • The location at 403 Redland Blvd will open at 8 a.m. and close at 8 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The location at 14939 Shady Grove Rd will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • The location at 1800 Rockville Pike will be open from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • The location at 5510 Norbeck Rd will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight on Christmas Eve
  • On Christmas Day, the same store will open at 7 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.
• Food Lion:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• The Fresh Market:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 7 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
• ALDI:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Trader Joe's:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.
• MOM's Organic Market:
  • On Christmas Eve, the store will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
