‘Yoga With Cats’ Class Is Purrfect Combo Of Cuteness And Relaxation

ROCKVILLE, MD – Do you love cats? Do you love yoga? If so, you're in luck! This quirky combination is the focus at the "Yoga With Cats" class at the Montgomery County Humane Society in Rockville from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Humans are invited to participate in the yoga class, while furry felines join you on your mat for a purrrfect mix of cuteness and relaxation. All the cats are adoptable.

The class will include yoga poses, breathing and relaxation exercises. No previous yoga is needed to enjoy this special class, but participants must be 16 years or older.

Yogis are asked to bring their own yoga mat — and leave their cat at home. Please arrive five to ten minutes early as classroom doors will close promptly at 9:30 a.m. to ensure all cats remain in the room during the yoga session.

Space is limited, so sign up here before Sunday. The class will be held in the Conference Room at the Humane Society at 601 South Stonestreet Ave., Rockville.
