'Zombie' on PCP Cited After Grabbing Girl on School Grounds: Police
A Landover man faces several charges for grabbing a girl on the grounds of a Rockville Middle School, then refusing to leave.

Rockville, MD — A Landover man whom police describe as acting like a zombie, possibly while high on PCP, faces several charges after grabbing a girl on the grounds of a Rockville school last week.
Kelly Antoine Johnson Hicks, 35, of Landover, was arrested by Montgomery County Police June 9 after he trespassed at Earl B. Wood Middle School in Rockville.
Montgomery County Police told WJLA school officials called to report Hicks was on school property without permission. A school employee reportedly saw Hicks walk onto the baseball field and basketball court while students were playing outside at 14615 Bauer Drive.

Hicks allegedly grabbed a 13-year-old girl and gave her a bear-hug." The school worker got the girl away from Hicks and demanded that he leave; all of the students were brought inside.
Police say Hicks sat on a bench at the baseball field in a "near catatonic state," unable to respond questions with anything beyond a grunt, WJLA reports.

According to Maryland online court records, Hicks was arrested June 1 for assault and possession of PCP.
As a result of the school encounter, Hicks was charged with trespassing on school grounds, disorderly conduct, second-degree assault, and disturbing school operations.
