• Burst Pipe Spills Over 16K Gallons Of Sewage In Severna Park (patch.com) — Severna Park residents are being warned after a burst pipe spilled about 16,200 gallons of sewage near Cypress Creek, with much of the overflow initially contained on land. The break, reported Sunday on the 800 block of Ritchie Highway, sent waste into the waterway before crews controlled the flow. Officials urge anyone who contacted the affected area to wash thoroughly and note that health and environmental agencies have been notified.
