Severna Park HS Competes in 'It's Academic' Finals

According to the AACPS AXIS e-newsletter:

"Having won its semifinal game earlier this season, a team of outstanding students from Severna Park High School competed in an 'It’s Academic' final match with two other playoff winners: Walkersville High School and Gilman School.

The match will be aired at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2011, on WJZ-TV (Channel 13) in Baltimore. The Severna Park team consists of Max Honigman, Nick Carassanesi, and India Pasiuk. Their faculty coach is Theresa Goldberg, who is the recipient of Giant Food’s Sophie Altman Coach of the Year Award for 2011.
