Severna Park Resident Chip Warner New Executive Director of Riderwood

Severna Park resident Chip Warner has been named the executive director  of Riderwood, the nation's largest continuing care retirement community in Silver Spring, MD.  Warner will be responsible for the  daily management of all aspects of the community of nearly 3,000 residents.

Warner served previously as the vice president of operations at
Erickson's corporate headquarters in Catonsville, MD,  providing
executive support for community-based General Services, Dining Services, Resident Life, and Philanthropy teams across the enterprise.

Warner, who joined Erickson in 2004, served first as the associate
executive director and then executive director  at Cedar Crest, an
Erickson-managed community in Pompton Plains, N.J.

"It is a privilege to join the Riderwood team," said Warner.  "I very
much look forward to working with the residents and staff who make this such a wonderful, vibrant community."

Warner holds a bachelor of science from the United States  Naval Academy, an MA from theUniversity of Maryland and an MBA from Harvard University. He resides in Severna Park, MD, with his wife Allison and their 6-year-old daughter Grace and their 2-year-old son Fletcher.
