John "Johnnie" Branham: John E. Branham, “Johnnie,” born on June 24, 1934 in Amherst County, VA, died Aug. 15 during his sleep in his home near Port Republic, MD, of conditions related to heart failure and type II diabetes exacerbated by a fall on the job in the summer of 2011.

John "Jack" Fish: John E. Fish (Jack), 88, a longtime resident of Round Bay in Severna Park, died at his home on Aug. 18.

Lyle Turner: Lyle J. (Bob) Turner, of Adamstown, MD, died after a brief illness on Aug. 18 at Sunrise Senior Living in Severna Park. Past residences include Florham Park, NJ, and Hilton Head, SC.

Rita Kueberth: Rita E. Kueberth, 87, a longtime resident of Arnold, died Aug. 19 at FutureCare Chesapeake in Arnold.

Betty Elizabeth Kingston: Betty Elizabeth Kingston, 78, a longtime resident of Severna Park, died Aug. 20 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.

Gloria Gomez: Gloria A. Gomez, 80, a resident of Annapolis, died on Aug. 21 at Tate Chesapeake Hospice House in Linthicum, MD.
