Blessing of Animals at Woods Sunday
The annual event brings beloved pets to Woods church to be blessed by pastors.
Community members are invited to leash their dogs and cats, put their turtles, hamsters or lizards in a cage, or bring the family goat or other pet over to the annual Blessing of the Animals at 1 p.m. Sunday at .
The blessing will be held on the front steps.
"The Blessing of the Animals service is conducted by our pastors and each pet is personally blessed," said Woods Deacon Lori Pasquale.
