It’s Thursday, and now it's time to become the event planner for the weekend.

Patch is coming to your rescue with a few perfect picks to prompt you to head out and experience a variety of great local entertainment - all not far from home.

 Where/When: Saturday, (Feb. 12)  8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at , 1265 Green Holly Dr. Annapolis.

Why Go: Support the Falcons and a great cause! All proceeds will benefit The Annapolis Wellness House.  In addition, donations may be designated for Broadneck High School or Severna Park High School on http://annapoliswellnesshouse.org.

3. 25 cent Monster Buffet

Where/When: Bamboo Bernies, 8359 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Pasadena, 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday (Feb. 11) is Happy Hour.

Why Go: You might be wondering how much food is on a 25 cent buffet. There will also be a band in the evening.

Pricing: No cover.

Where/When:  Feb. 11 at 6 p.m., Temple Beth Shalom,1461 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Arnold. All are welcome.

Why Go: You may meet someone! Jewish Singles age 50 and over are invited and asked to bring something to share for the Shabbat potluck supper. There's also the  option to attend the 8 p.m. Shabbat service. Non-members welcome.

5. Cupid Stupid Party

Where/When: Rams Head Tavern, 33 West St., Monday, Valentine's Day, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Why Go: If you are single and looking for what sounds like a fun evening, there will also be a psychic from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. for added entertainment. Drink Specials.
