The 10th anniversary ceremony of 9/11 will be held at the 9/11 memorial in front of the Anne Arundel County Police and Fire Headquarters on Veterans Highway. Following the ceremony, there will be a moment of silence at 8:50 a.m. to remember the nearly 3,000 people who died when terrorists flew planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and a field in Shanksville, PA.
Col. Edward C. Rothstein, USA, the commander of Fort George G. Meade, in Fort Meade, MD will be the featured speaker. The Annapolis Chorale will perform at the ceremony.
