Beginner Tree Identification Course at Kinder Farm

In this class, you'll spend one hour on class work - learning to distinguish between compound and simple leaves, leaf shape, leaf arrangement and leaf margins.  In addition, students will learn to use the Leaf Key to Common Trees in Maryland.   Following the class work session, attendees will spend one hour outside identifying trees.

To participate you should be 16 or older and preregistration is required.

This class is limited to 25 people.

The class will be held at the Kinder Farm Park Visitor’s Center and the Instructor is Bonnie Pavlak.
