Join us for a Celebration of Severna Park on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 7, 12:30 - 4:30 at the Community Center of Severna Park. Aspire, The Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce and the Community Center will host a party full of music, awards, food, fun and a bus tour of historical locations.Terry Schoener, retired pastor of Woods Church and Doug Diehl, the purveyor of fresh fruits, vegetables, plants, pumpkins, and Christmas trees will receive awards. Also acknowledged for their community service will be 2 posthumous wards for Skip Carr and Marguaritte Titus Mills.The afternoon will provide music on the gazebo by The Bums, The Frog and Prince and other local music and entertainment groups. The Dept. of Aging, Partners in Care, Span, the Fire Dept. and other service organizations will be available for questions and information.Food will be provided by the After School Middle School. Local artists and businesses wil make strolling through the booths enjoyable and rewarding.
